How do I book my wedding date with Nikkibeautyworks?

To reserve your date with Nikkibeautyworks, a deposit and signed contract is required. This deposit does go to your bridal services. No date is held without a deposit. I work on first-come-first-serve basis, so once a wedding is booked, I will always honor that date for you.

Do you travel?

Nikki will travel to your home, hotel, or venue anywhere on Long Island, & beyond. Travel fees may apply depending on the location.

When should I book my trial?

Nikki recommends booking your trial as early as possible. Booking early will help ensure your date remains available for you. The sooner the better!

Do I need a trial?

Trials are always necessary. By doing a trail you and your beauty team can come up with a flawless look that you want for your special day together. Deciding on your look ahead of time helps the morning of the wedding to run smoothly and efficiently. It also gives you an opportunity to be sure Nikki is the right fit for you! its important to be comfortable with your makeup artist/ hairstylist and to see for yourself Nikki is the right choice!

How far in advance should I book?

I would book at least a year in advance. It is imperative that you book as early as possible to ensure your date is reserved. Especially if your wedding is on a Saturday.

Does Nikki do everyones makeup/hair?

Nikki will do her best to make sure each client is getting HER, for Bridal parties of 8 or less people she will be able to accommodate everyone as long as its just makeup or just hair. If it is Bridal parties of 6 or less she can accommodate all. For anything over she will bring someone just as talented with her style to help get everyone done.

How long does makeup take?

It typically takes 35- 45 minutes per face depending on any add-ons (individual lashes or tattoo coverage). When it comes to the bride it tends to take a little more time so that Nikki can make sure everything is set for perfection. Please send your timeline in advance so she can ensure the day runs smoothly.

It typically takes 45-50 minutes per person depending on the hairstyle you have chosen and how much hair you have. The bride tends to take a little longer to make sure everything is absolutely perfect.

Do I need to supply my own makeup or lashes?
No, Nikki will have everything you need. If you have any allergies or sensitivity to anything feel free to reach out to Nikki so she is aware and could provide the proper products for you. If there is any specific products you would like to use feel free to bring them. The only recommendation to bring is your own lipstick so you can touch up your lips with the same color.

No, unless there's any jewels or hair pieces you would like to use bring them!

How can I be sure my makeup will last all night?
​
Nikki only uses high quality products. She preps the skin, applies the makeup, and sets everything in place perfectly to ensure that nothing moves. Her bride always say her makeup last until the next day! She also uses a lot of waterproof products. A tip to making sure your makeup stays put is to BLOT the happy wedding tears, rather than wiping them away.

Nikki is amazing at what she does and uses ALOT of hairspray. your hair won't move anywhere.

It is asked that each client have a clean, makeup free face before sitting in the makeup chair. Skin preparation begins with a good skincare routine, especially before your wedding. If you'd like any recommendations, Nikki would be happy to help!
